Our Story
Connfi started in 2018 as a sketch on a notebook in an SMU dorm room in Dallas. Today, every piece is cut and sewn in the USA by Bella+Canvas — built for the gym, worn beyond it, and rooted in the belief that you shouldn't have to choose between comfort and confidence.
It started with a simple frustration. Athletic clothes were too tight — the kind of compression-sleeve fit that looked good in product photos but felt like a wetsuit by the third set. Comfy clothes weren't fitted enough — loose, shapeless, fine for the couch but not for anywhere else.
Nothing sat in the middle. Nothing that moved like athletic gear, looked like real clothes, and didn't fall apart after twenty wears.
So in 2018, in a dorm room at SMU in Dallas, Connor started sketching what that piece would look like. Not a workout fit. Not a streetwear fit. Something you could wear under a barbell at 6 AM and to dinner at 8 PM and not feel like you were dressed for either one specifically.
The first samples were rough. The second batch was better. Eight years of iteration later, Connfi is what was missing from that dorm room sketchbook — premium athletic apparel that doesn't ask you to compromise on fit, feel, or how long it lasts.

Hundreds of fits, fabrics, and washes tested. Most got cut. The few that survived became the foundation of the line.
After cycling through manufacturers, the choice became obvious — Bella+Canvas in Los Angeles. American-made. Ethical labor. Solar-powered facility. The blanks that became Connfi.
The brand grows up. Connfi is based in Tampa now, but every piece still gets cut and sewn in the USA — by the same Los Angeles team Bella+Canvas has built since 1991.

Most athletic apparel brands say "Designed in USA" and stop there — meaning the design happens here, but the actual product gets cut and sewn in factories halfway around the world where labor costs nothing and oversight is even less.
Connfi doesn't work that way. Every piece is cut and sewn in Los Angeles by Bella+Canvas, one of the only American athletic apparel manufacturers operating at scale. That's not a tagline — it's the supply chain.
